Abstract

Writer attributes much of Syrian tribulations and "shame" to women peddlers. He also condemns the lazy husbands who send their wives and daughters peddling, proposing a "law" to prevent such activity. Writer claims that 75% of women peddlers engage in "shameful" activity. Peddling, he declares, is a man's job.
