Importation and treatment of the camels are detailed carefully and named individually (p. 401). The imported cameleers are hardly mentioned except as numbers: "six Arabs," "a Turk" (p. 399), "One of the Arabs" (p. 400). There is, however, one sentence about Hiogo Alli (p. 403).
