Briggs, 23-year-old missionary of the Lennon Rd. Church of Christ in Flint, was shot 3 times near Lai Khe, Vietnam. Briggs was serving as temporary administrator for the Vietnamese orphan program, under the direction of the Royal Oak Church of Christ.
