This collection consists of Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program Institutional Profiles submitted by Oakland Community College to provide a context for college admission personnel and scholarship panelists to review applicants for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship.

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is a private, independent foundation dedicated to advancing the education of exceptional students who have financial need. The foundation supports students from elementary school to graduate school through scholarships, grants, and direct service. The Cooke Foundation also provides significant grants for noteworthy and innovative initiatives across the United States that support these students. The Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship enables the nation’s top community college students to complete their bachelor’s degrees by transferring to a four-year college or university. Each award is intended to cover a significant share of the student’s educational expenses—including tuition, living expenses, books, and required fees—for the final two to three years necessary to achieve a bachelor’s degree. Awards vary based on a number of factors.
