In March of 1993, a survey was conducted to determine the employment need for
environmental technicians in southeastern Michigan. This report combines that smvey of
local employers with a national literature search to provide data and information regarding
the demand, salary levels, skill requirements and in-se1vice requirements of environmental
technicians. The report will be provided to college administrators to assist them in decision
making and planning regarding new program development. |
