Abstract:
This report created by the Academic Senate Ad Hoc Committee outlines four proposed models for implementation of General Education. The report features a statement of educational philosophy concerning the development and integration of core competencies, hearings on the statement, a process for implementation of competencies, and a review of the list of general education courses in light of the philosophy statement of general education and the recommended changes.
