Abstract:
The purpose of this report was to explore the need for expanding the Alternate Energies Technology/Energy Management program, presently offered at the Auburn Hills campus of Oakland Community College, to an Environmental Studies/Energy Management program. This report describes six major areas within Environmental Studies and twenty-six occupations within these major areas. The findings were based upon in-depth examinations of the literature, programs at other Michigan colleges and universities, interviews of local employers and discussions with professionals in the field.
