| dc.description.abstract | This report is an analysis of the MTELP (Michigan Test of English Language Proficiency) and the ESL COMPASS (English as a Second Language Computerized Adaptive Placement Assessment and Support System) to determine if the COMPASS exam would be an adequate replacement for the MTELP exam. This analysis compares all First-Time OCC students who took both the MTELP and COMPASS exams within the same time frame; as well as the review of descriptive statistics. | en_US |
