George Eugene Adams, a graduate of the Ford Trade School and Lawrence Institute of Technology, worked in the Ford Motor Company Design Department from 1937 to 1942. Adams worked for Briggs Manufacturing Company from 1942 to 1944, and following World War II, returned to Ford eventually becoming Ford of Europe Chief Chassis Engineer in the early 1970s.
