| dc.description.abstract | The intent of this study is to determine major reasons why students did not return to Oakland Community College (OCC). OCC polled former students whom did not return within at least one calendar year of leaving the college. For the purpose of this report, one calendar year equals (fall + winter + summer I + summer II + fall + winter} The students polled in this study have left OCC without obtaining neither a degree nor a certificate. The survey asked questions regarding educational goals, current employment status, satisfaction with transfer procedures at OCC, and satisfaction with academic preparation provided by OCC. | en_US |
