dc.description.abstract The Degree Trends Report is developed by the Office of Institutional Research based on data compiled from official college records and reports submitted to the Michigan Department of Career Development for the IPEDS (Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System) Annual Degrees Conferred Report. The Degree Trends report examines trends of OCC degrees, based on program. This report depicts the five and ten year trends in associate degrees and certificates awarded, trends in the changing rate of degrees conferred college wide and by program, and the top five degree granting programs. The percentage of change reported in many instances must be viewed cautiously. A number of programs have a relatively small number of graduates year to year. Incremental changes in these programs appear as high percentage changes. In other programs the structure of course offerings affects how frequently certificates or degrees may be awarded. en_US
