The Business Information Systems (BIS) Tech Scan was conducted to provide
information to the Oakland County Tech Prep BIS Team regarding changes in the
secretarial and related occupational areas. Based upon their research and prior
discussions, the BIS Team had formulated some ideas about the types and
direction of changes in the field, and they saw the Tech Scan information as
essential to validate their current thinking and exploring new possibilities for
changes.
